# audioLatencyMs

> `audioLatencyMs` is an integer preference in the `com.apple.airplay` domain, read from root's preferences, that overrides the 2000 ms buffer macOS uses for AirPlay system audio. 350 ms is the lowest stable value; 250 ms is silent.
